This time around, sleep came over his body so all anybody could do was watch Corwin crumble under the pressure once more.

He was never supposed to be in which was the problem. He wasn't supposed to keep starting, which is why he said he forgot to take Corwin out. Last time Corwin pitched, he was able to take him out early without any repercussions.
